Midnight Oil Vintage expresses an appreciation for the past through its use of vintage textiles and quality sewing techniques. Traditions of quilting, embroidery, and mending united with hand-drafted, modern silhouettes shape the collections. Each piece tells a story and is handmade in Houston, TX.
Paige Taylor is the designer of Midnight Oil Vintage. In 2021, the brand began with a small collection of one-of-a-kind garments composed entirely of reclaimed textiles. Today, Paige continues to create unique pieces that combine the art of storytelling and preservation.
OUR TEXTILES
We believe in responsible stewardship of the materials that are already on this earth. In order to create a more circular economy, all Midnight Oil Vintage pieces are created using vintage or secondhand fabrics from antique malls, estate sales, & thrift stores. These hand-selected materials inform the end piece, ensuring that it will stand the test of time.
